Introduction
you will see that Windows 11 is not compatible with Alienware command center on the Dell g15 5511 maybe other new computers also so download Windows 10 then do exactly what I tell you in the video and you'll still be able to use it on Windows 11
Video
All right, this video is going to be have my finger in it and all kinds of stuff, so just kind of deal with it, I'm doing it off my phone.
I just got this g15 dell g15 laptop or g5, and it's got windows 11.
I looked on youtube and all I could find is windows 10 people calling here.
This is how you get the control center to come up because um it comes with it, but mine came with it, but it I can't now right now, I've got it set up right here, see little icon, so we're going to go into settings here.
All right.
We're going to go into settings now just deal with me here, because I believe I had to go into apps.
I got my private information covered up now.
This is the problem that I was having.
What the is this, I don't have a mouse pad.
That's why things tripping okay now you'll see now all I had was now they downloaded it from.
This is the way it came like this.
These two apps okay, see they came.
I don't know this one I did later.
I I don't know automatically must have did it later or oh, no, oh they that updated today.
Okay with that automatically okay, so um you gotta, go if you don't have this icon showing on this windows, 11, g15 laptop or maybe other computers.
At this point after I called several of my friends who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in their program, computer programmers and all kinds of none of them could help me.
I'm like I'm like really.
I've called five of you and you guys have spent hundreds of hundred thousands of dollars to go to college and whatever get the out of here I'll figure it out myself, which I did thank god.
So you come down here and you just click on these three buttons.
I'm gonna do it.
I don't wanna, do it, but I'm gonna, do it? Okay, so you click on this.
Now you click on modified, okay, click on modified, and then you get this.
And obviously you say yes now.
I know why I'm doing this right now, but I'm doing it just so.
People can figure this out because I'm telling you it's not these videos, I've been seeing on youtube with windows.
10 everyone's complaining about windows, 11, a bunch of freaking babies.
Some happens every time they switch something over.
I mean I'm talking about 40 year old men crying like now.
At this point you go to repair.
Okay, you click on repair, I'm not going to do it again, hit on repair hit.
Next, let it play out because it will play out and just keep hitting it.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, okay and you will eventually, you will eventually see this pop up bang, because it will go ahead and fix the problem, and I don't know if I should get rid of this and uninstall it, which I'm not I'm just going to leave it there for now and then um control.
You know it also fixed oc control, didn't give me an alienware thing, but whatever I don't know anything about this, maybe someone can let me know, but it seems to be working fine, because I went and looked and it's everything's very fine.
So now I've got this so now I'm able to go oh cool.
Well, maybe I am able to work this piece of now.
So I click on my windows.
11 start menu and I go to all apps there we go there.
It is bang, it shows up now.
Okay, I put it down here in the taskbar and I pull it up.
Oh really, it's going to do this, I'm going to pause it for a minute this nightmare.
It says it takes 30 seconds.
Trust me.
It doesn't I'll, be right back all right.
I guess they're right.
It does take 36 seconds now hit yes after I just clicked on this icon, I was waiting for it to come through.
So here we are okay.
Here we are here.
We are now it's still going.
Okay, here we are so we go to thermal.
We go to the thermal click on that and we've got performance one.
Don't we? Yes, we've got performance one as you can see this is I made two, so you can see what the hell is going on here now for some reason, it's not doing what it's supposed to.
Obviously, under the video it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Well, give me my options: I got gaming and performance wants so gaming.
If you can listen, I've already went in and changed it.
I don't know why it's doing this to me: creepy bastards.
It's got gaming set up and I got thermal at 75.
So at gaming, I'm 100 percent.
My fans are cranking right now and it's keeping the thing perfectly cool, which is totally awesome, and I think the rest of you know how to modify this.
If you don't know how to modify, if you don't have to do the command, um controls there's a hundred thousand videos on here to do it, but this video is just mainly on how, in the hell whether it's on your g5 or g15 laptop that I just they put these things on dirt cheap during christmas, and I was like I'll take one right now I mean- and it's actually I was pissed off at first because it was getting hot.
I couldn't get into alienware uh command center to control my fans on my gpu on the on the and on the um computer, so that was that was the way to fix it.
I mean I kept on downloading I'm downloading on downloading and doing all this, and I'm just like watching these youtube videos.
I'm like these guys, my friends, I've had enough, I'm pissed off, I'm going to figure it out.
Myself has something to do with windows 11, because obviously I haven't seen one video of windows 11.
So that's the only way I could find to fix it.
Then I got the icon I'm in now I can game whatever I want in this thing, like a freaking beast hook, this up my 4k, monitor, downstairs and play whatever game that I want and run run it right off this thing and put this on my laptop cooler also and have more extra air blowing in and I bought this other little fan.
I don't have on me um from homes.
It's a has a lithium battery as a little fan, and I set it behind this thing just for x to cool it down, but now I believe that I won't even need any of that, because my fans, if you can hear they're blunt they're, they're they're cranking, they are cranking once you got your headphones on your microphone back here.
I'm sure that you'll probably still hear that a little bit, but I don't really care I'm getting um a little too old for people giving this where they hear a little bit of fan in the background, while I'm playing multiplayer anything, but you can always set it twice like I said you can always set it twice.
If it's staying nice and cool you don't have to have it on gaming, you can put it on the next setting, which is is uh, which one is it let's see here.
Thermal one is is not showing up here.
Okay thermal one disappeared, oh here it is new profile.
Thermal melissa so set up a couple, different ones, this one's at 75 fans and it's still blown pretty hardcore.
So I like that one too.
Well, the fan totally shut off now because the thing's, not that cool but that's called new profile one and let's get back to gaming piece of- has now disappeared.
Well there it is so back to gaming.
So I got two profiles, one at 75 percent fans and one at a hundred running a hundred percent all the time- and now my is I'm happy with this thing.
Now, I'm very happy with it.
I don't really like laptops, but I was having a problem getting that command center fixed up, so there you go figure it out yourself.
